hd PLB

The hd PLB is an extremely compact, array-capable subwoofer in the elegant hd PL-series column loudspeaker design with astonishing bass reproduction for combination with any mid-high loudspeaker for full-range applications. The inconspicuous hd PLB subwoofer element consists of ten powerful 3.5“ high-excursion chassis with a continuous power of 150W RMS. Thanks to the proven single-roll surround technology for a large linear excursion and the best possible impulse fidelity, the 104 x 108 mm slim subwoofer has a frequency range of 40 – 160 Hz (-6 dB) and is therefore ideally suited for invisible applications in restaurants, conference rooms, museums, theaters and churches . With a nominal impedance of 6 Ω, the installation amplifiers of the hd Qi series can efficiently support various sound reinforcement scenarios.

The hd PLB subwoofer module has the same cabinet dimensions as the hd CCX and PL series, and it can be combined with them using the MIX & MATCH feature. For example, it can be combined with an hd C5CX or hd PL16 to create an inconspicuous yet dynamic full-range column speaker with a frequency range of 40 to 22,000 Hz. On request, this combination can also be manufactured in a continuous housing.
