On the rear panel there are level meters for each input and output channel, as well as a USB interface for setting and managing all audio parameters via PC. The extremely powerful DSP offers FIR and IIR filters for the exact adaptation of the PA system to the respective application. The input section includes a routing matrix, a function generator (sine and noise generator) and a freely configurable equalizer per input channel with 16 IIR filters and a 384 taps FIR filter. Each output channel has 16 IIR filters, 384 taps FIR filters, 100 ms delay, 180° phase reversal, peak limiters, RMS limiters, gain and mute. There are 20 factory presets for all Harmonic Design speaker system configurations stored for direct recall to the device so that it can always be reset to a defined default state of the system. This guarantees highest reliability of the connected speakers and ensures a very dynamic and linear sound.

For user-specific settings, another 20 freely configurable user presets are available to save and manage individual configurations. The hd P15 is easy-to-read, 4-line LCD display with a 3.2-inch diagonal screen and 5 navigation buttons enables simple, intuitive operation of all functions, as well as direct loading of factory or user presets without a PC.

All functions are clearly accessible via the USB interface and the hd LevelZ remote control software. This makes it possible to adapt the PA system to the changing requirements from day to day in the shortest possible time and makes the usual complete system change, for a small or large event, superfluous. Additionally, the new, easy-to-use hd LevelZ remote PC software allows you to address individual requirements in greater detail and manage an unlimited number of user presets and configurations.

The hd P15 System Bass is a compact and powerful subwoofer with bass reflex tuning that is easy to transport. The specially developed 15″ long-excursion chassis with 4″ voice coil on fiberglass carrier allows a excursion of ±15 mm. Through a ventilation at the pole piece and at the spider, the heat development of the coil is optimally dissipated. Therefore, an extremely high continuous power handling capacity of 1000W / 4000W is possible. The lower heat development also means increased reliability and reduced thermal stress on the voice coil. Excellent dynamics and dry bass reproduction at incredible pressure is the result.

With only one hd P15, it is possible to drive two or four top cabinets or column speakers in addition to another passive hd Sub15. And it goes even further: The powerful amplifier allows you to adapt the active system to constantly changing sound requirements. Depending on the size of the room and the required optics, you can connect small, medium, or large mid-high speakers to the active bass. If necessary, you can also supply a complete PA system with two monitor paths and two hd P15s. The DSP always guarantees optimum sound at all levels and highest operational reliability.
