hd 10CXN

The hd 10CXN is a passive 2-way system equipped with a coaxial 10“/1.4“ driver arrangement in bass reflex tuning and a double neodymium magnet system 3“/2.5“ voice coil. A precisely developed and sophisticated crossover ensures deep coupling at 1100 Hz and makes the 10CXN sound clear and distinct. The compression driver with 2.5“ voice coil is located in the woofer‘s magnet system and is connected directly to the cone membrane via a BEM-optimized waveguide. This means that there is no shadowing or reflections on the bass membrane from an external horn. The hd 10CXN achieves a conical radiation of 75° without a separate horn. The SuperVented housing design in combination with an extremely durable 3“ voice coil paired with the latest technology neodymium magnet geometry assembly makes the 10CXN a high-performance full-range speaker.

It can be operated via any power amplifier – even without DSP – and makes the hd 10CXN the optimal solution for high-quality mobile or permanently installed sound reinforcement tasks in, for example, industrial events, theaters or sports facilities. The hd 10CXN unfolds its full potential in conjunction with an HD system amplifier. An absolutely flat frequency response with linear phase behavior enables even more natural playback behavior and enormous feedback security at all levels.

The integrated 35mm tripod adapter enables use on a tripod as a front system and is complemented by two practical monitor angles of 35° and 45° for discreet and loud monitor applications. Three Speakon ports – two on the back, one on the bottom – ensure unobtrusive and kink-free cabling. There is an ergonomic carrying handle on the back. The housing is made of multiplex wood and has an impact and weatherproof polyurethane coating, as well as a ball-proof, elegant and rounded steel grille in black. For permanent installation, M6 and M8 inlet threads are available for cost-effective installation of standardized wall brackets or a flying bracket.
