This Privacy Policy clarifies the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as “Data”) in the course of the provision of our services, as well as our online offerings and related websites, features and content, and external online presence, such as web sites. our Social Media Profile (collectively referred to as the “Online Offering”). Collecting general information
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and the like. This is only information that does not allow conclusions about your person. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us to optimize our website and the underlying technology.
Within the Internet offer, there is the possibility to enter personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses). The disclosure of this data by the user takes place on an expressly voluntary basis; however, these data are also treated confidentially and carefully without exception. The use of the contact data published in the imprint or comparable information such as postal addresses, telephone and fax numbers as well as email addresses by third parties for the transmission of not expressly requested information is not permitted. Legal action against the senders of so-called spam mails for violations of this prohibition are expressly reserved.
Cookies
Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a web page server to your hard disk. This automatically gives us certain data, such as: IP address, browser used, operating system from your computer and your connection to the Internet. In our case, a cookie with the name “privacy_embeds” is stored on your end device.
Cookies can not be used to launch programs or to transfer viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can facilitate navigation and enable the correct display of our websites.
In no case will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or a link with personal data will be established without your consent.

Newsletter
When registering to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be notified by email about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (such as changes to the newsletter offer or technical conditions).
For an effective registration we need a valid e-mail address. In order to verify that an application is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the “Double-opt-in” procedure. For this purpose we record the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation email and the receipt of the requested answer. Further data is not collected. The data will be used exclusively for newsletter delivery and will not be passed on to third parties.
The consent to the storage of your personal data and their use for the newsletter can be revoked at any time. Each newsletter contains a link to this. In addition, you can tell us your request via the contact option indicated at the end of this Privacy Notice.
Statistics with Statify
We use Statify to compile statistics on page views. The software runs exclusively on our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties.
For each page view, Statify records only the date, the page requested and the referring page. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and collects no identifiers that would allow conclusions about individual persons. The data is not combined with any other data.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a data-minimising analysis of how our offering is used, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The recorded data is deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest.
Using Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map features by visitors. For more information about Google’s data processing, please refer to the Google Privacy Notice. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy center.

Using MailChimp
This website uses a MailChimp newsletter. Data from newsletter subscribers will be transmitted to MailChimp for further processing. You can always inform, update and change the stored data. Please contact the data protection officer.
Videos
Videos on our website are served exclusively from our own server. When you open a page containing a video, only a preview image is loaded initially; the video file itself is transferred only when you start playback.
No connection to YouTube, Vimeo or any other video platform takes place. No data is transmitted to third parties and no cookies are set for this purpose.
Contact and inquiry forms
On individual pages we provide forms that let you send us inquiries about our products – for example the hd BS10 inquiry form for visitors of LEaT con 26.
We process the details you enter into the respective form: contact person, company, postal address, email address and telephone number, the VAT identification number if you have one, your tax status, your product specifications and your message. Mandatory fields are marked as such; without them we cannot process your inquiry.
The purpose of processing is to handle and answer your inquiry, including preparing a quotation and any questions required for it. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give explicitly when submitting the form. Where your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, we additionally base the processing on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).
Your details are sent by email to our sales department and processed there. They are not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your inquiry – for example to a distribution partner in your region. No transfer to third countries takes place. The forms do not embed any third-party services; in particular, no external captcha services are loaded.
We store your details until your inquiry has been dealt with conclusively. We then delete them, unless commercial or tax retention periods require otherwise.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. An informal email to datenschutz@harmonic-design.com is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected.
Subscribing to our newsletter is a separate, voluntary choice within the form and is not a condition for processing your inquiry.
Your rights to information, correction, suspension, cancellation and opposition
You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. Likewise, you have the right to correct, block or, except for the required data storage for business, deletion of your personal information. Please contact our data protection officer. For a data lock to be taken into account at all times, these data must be stored in a lock file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, as long as there is no legal archiving obligation. As far as such an obligation exists, we lock your data on request.
You can make changes or revoke your consent by notifying us with effect for the future.
