hd BS10

The hd BS10 is a battery-powered 2-way active loudspeaker built around the Harmonic Design system philosophy: loudspeaker, system amplifier and digital mixer in a single enclosure. Alongside its internal 10“/1“ system, the BS10 drives tops, subwoofers or the hd BS10EXT through two freely configurable 250 W amplifier channels — for more than twelve hours, completely independent of the mains.

A complete PA from a single box.

With just one hd BS10, a single loudspeaker becomes a full-grown sound system: one for everything! The two integrated 250 W outputs can be freely configured for top or subwoofer operation, enabling any system size — standalone, stereo with the hd BS10EXT, with up to two tops, up to two subwoofers, as a stereo system with sub, or with a dedicated monitor path. Every path is controlled and monitored individually. That saves weight, truck space and setup time — and makes the usual system change between small and large events a thing of the past.

More than twelve hours. No mains required.

Two 18 V battery slots make the hd BS10 fully independent of the grid. Batteries hot-swap during operation — and switching between battery and mains power is seamless, too. Where mains power is available, the BS10 runs on the supplied PowerCon True1 cable with a wide-range power supply (80–265 V). The result: sound reinforcement that happens where it is needed — not where the nearest socket happens to be. With a runtime of more than twelve hours, the BS10 powers through a full event day (battery system of your choice; batteries not included).

The mixing console is already built in.

Eight input channels, internal mix buses and up to five output paths make an external console unnecessary. Microphone and line sources with switchable phantom power, combo inputs for line and Hi-Z signals, plus two channels of Stereo Wireless Audio are mixed directly on the 4“ touch display — with freely adjustable pre/post sends to every output path and real-time level metering. The 96 kHz / 32-bit FIR DSP provides a 16-band EQ and compressor per channel, while a high-quality reverb refines vocals and speech. The system adapts to any application and any room in just a few minutes.

Wireless systems already accounted for.

Two internal mounting bays accept ½-19“ wireless microphone receivers or IEM transmitters and power them directly from the integrated 12/15 V DC outputs. No external power supplies, no loose cabling — the entire wireless setup disappears neatly inside the enclosure and is ready to go the moment you set up.

Wireless control, wireless playback.

Via Wi-Fi, the hd BS10 is operated with the hd LevelZ 2 remote software or the touch app — so the mix is made where you actually hear it: in the audience. Stereo Wireless Audio additionally streams music straight from a mobile device, with no extra hardware at all.

Road-ready down to the last detail.

The rugged plywood enclosure with black polyurethane coating, ergonomic carrying handle, 35 mm pole mount and M8 rigging points guarantees road-readiness at just 10 kg. A tailor-made carrying bag, rain cover and U-bracket are available as options — for daily use on tour, in rental and in fixed installation.
